These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Labels mobile application, website, and related content or services (together, "Labels", "the App", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using Labels, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Labels.
Labels is a mindfulness and reflection app designed to help users notice, label, and review patterns in their thoughts during short check-in sessions. It is intended for personal wellbeing, reflection, and habit-building purposes only.
Labels is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, psychiatric advice, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use Labels. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use Labels with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You may use Labels only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing. You agree not to:
Labels may include features such as session timers, thought labels, custom labels, voice labels, session history, reminders, Apple Health integration, and premium features or paid upgrades. We may add, remove, or change features over time.
If you enable Voice Labels, the App may request access to your microphone and Apple Speech Recognition features. You are responsible for deciding whether to enable these permissions. Voice Labels may not work in all environments, such as when other audio is playing or where speech recognition performance is limited.
If you enable Apple Health integration, Labels may write mindful session data to Apple Health. You control whether Health access is granted and can revoke access at any time in your device settings. Your use of Apple Health and HealthKit is also subject to Apple's terms, rules, and privacy practices.
If you enable reminders, Labels may send local notifications based on the schedule you choose. You can disable notifications in the App or in your device settings.
Labels may offer premium features, subscriptions, free trials, or one-time purchases.
If you subscribe or purchase through Apple's App Store, billing is handled by Apple. Renewals, cancellations, refunds, and account management are subject to Apple's billing rules. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, subject to Apple's billing terms.
We may change pricing, plans, or offers in the future. Any such changes will apply prospectively and subject to applicable platform rules.
Labels, including its design, branding, content, user interface, graphics, audio, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Labels except as permitted by law or by our written permission.
You may create content in the App such as custom labels, session notes, and saved sessions. You retain responsibility for content you create and choose to store in the App. You agree not to use Labels to create, store, or submit unlawful or infringing material.
We do not guarantee that Labels will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version. We may update the App, modify or discontinue features, or suspend access for maintenance, legal, or operational reasons.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labels is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, about availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of outputs or reflections, or whether the App will meet your expectations or personal outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, wellbeing outcomes, or profits arising from or related to your use of Labels. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using Labels at any time by discontinuing use and deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required for legal, operational, or security reasons.
Labels may rely on third-party services or platforms, including Apple services such as the App Store, Apple Health / HealthKit, Speech Recognition, and notification services. Your use of those services may also be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy policies.
Your use of Labels is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of Labels after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
